When I got my degree as a beautician in 2000, I, Ilona Westera - van de Veerdonk, started working at the beauty salon where I interned during my training. At the end of this very educational period, I thought it was time to accomplish my dream. I opened my own beauty salon Believe in Beauty in the center of the town of Uithoorn. After major redecorations, %26ldquo;Believe in Beauty%26rdquo; Beauty Salon opened its doors to the public in October 2004. The salon, located at Dorpsstraat 35, consisted of 1 treatment room and a small store facing the street.

In March 2008, we moved our business to a new location, which is across the road from the old premises and has a large store area and 3 treatment rooms. The Believe in Beauty team currently counts 2 beauticians. All Believe in Beauty employees are certified and attend courses and seminars on a regular basis. TCA-Peeling
The TCA-Peeling is a treatment that tightens, smoothes and rejuvenates the skin, irrespective of age, skin color and skin type.

This combination peel will make the skin renew itself completely in 7 - 10 days. This fast renewal allows for correction of fine wrinkles, dark spots, coarse skin texture and sun damage. By using several unique peeling substances during treatment, the trained specialist is able to control the entire peeling process and perform the peel 100%25 safely. Layers of dead cells are removed to make way for healthy new cells that restore to the skin its radiance and tone.

TCA-Peeling.
De TCA-Peeling, een behandeling die de huid strakker, gladder en jonger maakt, onafhankelijk van leeftijd, huidskleur of huidtype.

Deze combi-peel zorgt ervoor dat de huid zich in een periode van een week tot 10 dagen volledige vernieuwt. Door deze snelle vernieuwing kunnen fijne rimpeltjes, pigmentvlekjes, een grove structuur en zonschade verbeteren. Het gebruik van diverse unieke peelingstoffen tijdens de behandeling stelt de getrainde specialist(e) in staat het peelingproces volledig te controleren en de peeling 100%25 veilig uit te voeren. L3 Laser

As of October 2009 we introduced the newest innovation of Skin Improvement; Mesotherapy.

Mesotherapy has been applied with very successful results in the battle against aging kin. It improves the skins complexion and helps blur wrinkles. Mesotherapy was developed in 1952 by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor and is based on the application of active ingredients exactly where they are most needed These active ingredients are applied by microinjections under the skin of the area to be treated. The ingredients are injected relatively close to the skins surface.

A vitamin and mineral complex that stimulates fibroblast activity is injected into the skins surface. Fibroblasts stimulate the skin to produce collagen, which, in turn, will improve its elasticity. Hyaluronic acid in the skin will restore the skins natural moisture content.

Mesotherapy should be seen more as a total skin enhancer, in which special attention is paid to the causes of ageing skin. It replenishes the skin with many essential substances, improving the skins natural complexion.

Vanaf oktober 2009 bieden wij bij Believe in Beauty een van de nieuwste innovaties op het gebied van huidverbetering; Mesotherapie. 

Mesotherapie wordt met veel succes toegepast in de strijd tegen huidveroudering.
 
Mesotherapie zorgt voor een verbetering van het huidbeeld en helpt rimpels vervagen. Deze therapie  is al in 1952 ontwikkeld door de Franse arts dr. Michel Pistor en is gebaseerd op het toedienen van werkzame stoffen juist daar waar ze nodig zijn. Dit betekent dat er door het toedienen van kleine injecties in de huid werkzame stoffen worden ingebracht. De stoffen worden relatief oppervlakkig ingespoten. 
 
Bij het oppervlakkig injecteren wordt er een vitamine- en mineralencomplex dat de werking van fibroblasten stimuleert gebruikt. Fibroblasten zorgen ervoor dat de huid collageen aanmaakt en de elasticiteit verbetert. Het aanwezige hyaluronzuur herstelt de vochtbalans in de huid.
  
Mesotherapie moet gezien worden als een totale huidverbeteraar waarbij vooral wordt gewerkt aan de oorzaak van huidveroudering. Het vult allerlei essentiele stoffen aan in de huid. Hierdoor zijn we in staat om het huidbeeld te verbeteren.

Huidanalyse
Met iedere nieuwe klant die voor Anti-Aging, Huidverbetering of Huidverzorging bij ons in het Instituut komt, houden wij als eerste een uitgebreid intakegesprek. Gedurende dit gesprek vragen wij naar de behoeften en wensen en analyseren wij de huid van de klant met onze SkinAnalyser. Naar aanleiding van dit gesprek en de huidanalyse stellen wij indien wenselijk een behandelplan op inclusief een advies voor het gebruik van verzorgingsproducten voor thuis.

Gedurende het jaar analyseren wij de huid van iedere klant meerdere malen met onze Skinanalyser. Naar aanleiding van de analyse stellen wij het advies bij, indien nodig. De huid kan nl. gedurende het jaar en omstandigheden veranderen, waardoor ook een ander type behandeling en andere thuisverzorgingsproducten nodig zijn.

Payot is an established brand since 1927. The basic ingredients of all their products are herbs, plants and minerals. Payot has a complete treatment program for the face and body.

During Payot treatment, you can experience the distinctive massage that was designed to revitalize the face's energy centers, to stimulate vital cell functions and to restore perfect harmony between body and spirit.

Payot has a wide range of products. BioSkinJetting
BioSkinJetting is a 100%25 biological and safe method of wrinkle reduction. This method is based on scientific research and offers a natural alternative to injections. BioSkinJetting combats wrinkles related to connective tissue.

Without resorting to injections, the skin is stimulated to produce young collagen fibers by itself. As the skin ages, less collagen and elastin are produced, causing the skin to wrinkle and sag. Because the body's own collagen fills it in a natural way, the wrinkle diminishes.

The wrinkles of the nose-to-mouth line, above the lip, around the eyes and on the forehead are easily treated. Frown lines (between the eyebrows) are harder to treat because they are the result of mimicry, i.e. of repeated movements we make without even knowing it, e.g. when we read, stare, think etc. The little red lines that occur during treatment are easily covered up with BioSkinJetting cover cream. On average, the desired result is accomplished after 5 to 7 treatments.

BioSkinSmoothing
The BioSkinSmoothing method allows us to remove couperose (broken capillaries) and skin tags. Couperose is caused by slackening of connective tissue, spicy food, excessive use of alcohol, extreme temperature differences, such as during sauna sessions and winter sports, but heredity plays its part as well.

Using a tiny needle, we can close the vein with a high frequent signal. We are very careful and accurate and you will immediately see the result. If only a few small veins are visible in the face, one treatment is sufficient. In case of a larger area, several treatments are necessary. Following the procedure, the treated area will be red. After a few days, small scabs may appear on the treated area. This is normal, and additional fluid build-up may also occur. Both symptoms will disappear after a few days.
BioSkinJetting
BioSkinJetting is een 100%25 biologische en veilige manier van rimpelcorrectie. Een wetenschappelijk onderbouwde methode die een natuurlijk alternatief biedt voor inspuitingen. BioSkinJetting gaat de strijd aan met rimpels van het bindweefsel.

De huid wordt, zonder gebruik te maken van inspuitingen, gestimuleerd om zelf jonge collageen vezels te vormen. Als de huid ouder word, wordt de aanmaak van collageen en elastine minder, hierdoor ontstaan de rimpels en verslapping. Het lichaamseigen collageen vult op een natuurlijke wijze de rimpel op waardoor de diepte van de rimpel verminderd.

De rimpels van de neus/liplijn, boven lip, rond de ogen en voorhoofd zijn goed te behandelen. De voorhoofdrimpel ( tussen de wenkbrauw) is moeilijk te behandelingen omdat dit een mimische rimpels is die vaak gebruikt wordt zonder dat we dat zelf doorhebben, bv tijdens het lezen, kijken, denken enz. De rode lijntjes die gedurende de behandeling ontstaan zijn eenvoudig te camoufleren met de BioSkinJetting covercrème. Er zijn gemiddeld 5 tot 7 behandelingen nodig om het gewenste resultaat te bereiken.

BioSkinSmoothing/ couperose verwijderen.
Met de methode BioSkinSmoothing kunnen we couperose (gesprongen bloedvaatjes) en steelwratjes verwijderen. De couperose ontstaat door verslapping van het bindweefsel, pittig eten, overmatig alcohol gebruik, grote temperatuur verschillen zoals bv sauna en wintersport, maar ook erfelijkheid speelt mee.

Met een klein naaldje kunnen we met een hoogfrequent signaal de ader sluiten. We werken nauwkeurig en precies en je ziet gelijk resultaat. Als er in het gelaat een paar kleine adertjes zichtbaar zijn is 1 behandeling voldoende. Bij een groter oppervlak zijn een paar behandelingen noodzakelijk. Na de behandeling is het behandelde gebied rood. Er kunnen na een paar dagen kleine korstjes ontstaan op de behandelde plaats. Dit is normaal, ook kan er een vochtophoping ontstaan. Beide symptomen verdwijnen na een paar dagen.Who is who
